At Blockbuster Firewood Processors, our story is one of family, innovation, and dedication to quality.
Founded in 1987 by Tim Batey, his father and grandfather, the company’s journey began with a desire to do things better. When they combined a hydraulic cutter and splitter into one machine, they had no intentions of selling it. But when they “accidentally” sold their first machine, this would mark the birth of a business built on hard work and a commitment to providing quality firewood processing equipment.
For over 35 years, Tim and Kerry Batey led Blockbuster from their hometown of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, pouring their passion into manufacturing top-tier firewood processors, elevators, and cleaners that have become trusted tools for businesses and individuals across the industry. In 2024, Bazooka Farmstar, purchased Blockbuster to continue the brand legacy of excellence and commitment to superior quality that Blockbuster customers have relied on for decades. Blockbuster is currently manufactured in Washington, Iowa.Â
